“Who the hell are you?”
My name is Lucas.
First and foremost, I’m a human being made in the image of God. I’m also an Orthodox Christian.
Sometimes, in thinking about the idea that we are not to attempt to define ourselves, but that Christ is the One Who defines us, I wonder – “What’s the point of having a ‘personal website’ like this, then? Can this really amount to anything other than an attempt to define who I am based on a crafted personification of myself that I choose to publish?” And beyond that, do I even have anything worthy to contribute?
